Are you going through a clinic? As they will provide your meds for you and track your follicle productions. If your just doing it at home im not sure....folic acid

I believe most iui's use Clomid for women with PCOS. I unfortunately was not successful with IUI/Clomid. I produced large folicals and ovulate, but had no luck. Moved to IVF after 3 fails and I have had luck with IVF. I do know some people use injectable medications with IUI'S also. I just don't know enough about it. Best of luck. I have PCOS too. It sucks, but in the world of fertility, PCOS isn't the toughest obstacle to conceiving. I wish you quick success!

Pcos 36 and trying to conceive with iui

Sunshine d stacie thanks for writing.
    Child ment

I conceived my son (now 3) via iui injectionablea we added when the 50mg of clomid didn't do anything.

    End ment

So now I'm just wondering if I should do the same or go with the clomid 150 which produces one or two follies for me. Just had no Luck last time. Paying out of pocket with an RE, we will only move to ivf if iui doesn't work. Want to give it once more.... but just want to be aggressive... maybe I'll do the Injectibles just bc I know it worked before. Anyway. Thanks for writing me back and congrats to you on your success

I have to take folic acid again! And go return to Accupunture asap maybe that will help ....
    Praying

Let me know how u get on! We had iui in novemeber i had all the meds which really knocked me about!. We are now offered ivf or another iui. We have decided to go straight to ivf but are using a donor for home inseminations first before paying out for ivf x

If you have been trying for a child naturally for 6 months or longer with no success, it is time to get in to see a doctor. Many women over the age of 40 will find they have diminished ovarian reserve (DOR). This is completely natural and normal. Regardless of what your test results are, a natural therapy plan may greatly increase your chances of a successful pregnancy. It does not matter if you are going for IUI or IVF or using a donor egg, simple natural preparation can still be done. A natural therapy plan may increase your chances of a successful medical procedure as well. What will your medical options be if you find out you do have low ovarian reserve? Depending what your ovarian reserve is determined as, they may suggest Clomid to stimulate ovulation, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), or an egg donor (if your reserve is extremely low), or suggest hormonal medications. If you are planning to do any of the medical options I just mentioned, you can still follow a natural therapy plan prior to beginning any hormonal medications for those procedures. For example you could prepare naturally for an upcoming IVF. We always encourage couples to continue eating well and exercising through any type of fertility plan regardless if it is natural or medical. Bio tex clinic did help me in this sector so much.
