Haven't used it with other IVF attempts. Don't think it is an ideal treatment, but with my poor egg quality and only getting one mature egg each IVF cycle I think my OB is giving it a try. Anyone have any positive stories using Clomid?

    Hi TooOld,
    How's it going?
First of all I would like to tell you that you are not too old to conceive a baby. I have seen lots of women conceiving even at the middle forties.
I understand the emotional pain and agony you must be going through these days. But you need not to loose hope because I know so many of the ladies who have conceived after going through IVF. IVF actually works!! Perhaps it hasn't worked for you yet but just keep trying.

I agree with Tissy maybe you need to change your doctor as different doctors have different techniques of dealing with the infertility. One of my friend had also gone through this phase and then she went to another fertility center and eventually she conceived and now she is a happy mom of a baby girl. You can also try it out. I really hope this will work for you as well.
You will also have to make some lifestyle changes for this. Eat healthy....

    Amen!!

    Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all your positive comments. I've had a few cycles break from IVF. I've done acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Clomid, Melatonin and taken large doses of Coq10. Now just finished a cycle of IVF with egg collection yesterday. 10 eggs collected, 3 fertilised! Fingers crossed they last to day 3 transfer!

This is a wonderful news. Good luck. Just finished my IVF cycle as well . I did mini protocol this time ( very low doses) still got 13 eggs , 8 fertilized, 6 made it to day 3 , transferred all of them. I am on 2ww wait now. Good luck to both of us. God bless.
