    Oh what a beautiful sound...

We recieved our Baby Beat doppler today and we found the heart beat!!! Oh my...how wonderful it was! I was SO nervous that it wouldn't be there but it was and it was beautifully strong.

We didn't get the kind that tells you the rate but we counted with a stop watch and think it's around 168 or so. 8-)

I really feel like this is going to happen now!! One of my best friends from college is in town on Wed. I was nervous to tell her before our next OB appt on Thursday to hear the HB. Now I can tell her...she will be so excited!!

    Take care all!

Yeah Melanie, how exciting! It is such a beautiful sound to hear your baby's hb! It is so much easier to announce your news when you have recently heard the hb.

I ordered my doppler on Friday and can't wait until it gets here!

Oh, Melanie, I'm so happy for you! You're right, that little heart just beating away is one of the best sounds ever!

I've been using my doppler since last Thursday twice/day, and this weekend my DH and I called my IPs so they too could hear their little miracle's heart beat. They both cried!

    Hugs to you,

    Sirell

    That is wonderful, Melanie!!!

I'm hoping to order one this weekend...but I know it will probably be a few weeks before it works. That must be so exciting to hear that little heart beating away!

Great news Melanie.....I'm watching you and so glad to hear things are going well.

Isn't it just amazing??? What a glorious sound. The doppler is such a great thing to feel connected to your baby and share with DH, etc. especially until you feel movement. Enjoy!
