Well, I'm back! After a trip to L.A. and a week long camping trip in the Redwoods up north! I was not sure what camping would be like with a 2 year old, but it was a blast! Now it's back to work!
What's up with the rest of you?

We are keeping busy here with Griffin ... he is 9weeks already. Hr weighed in at 13.5lbs and 23.5 inches at our doc appt last week. He is by far eating enough! He started sleeping through the night about a week and a half ago ... I am hoping that it is not just a phase but am loving it while it lasts.

He is becoming so much more fun ... he responds when you talk to him ... and his morning smiles just melt our hearts! I love being a mom so much ... a dream that I never thought would happen. We are going on a short vacation next week but am looking forward to getting out of the house!

    Hope everyone else is well!

    Christa and baby Griffin

    We're here

Just gave birth to Hannah Grace on the 18th. She's doing very well, mom (me) had complications, so was in hospital almost a week.

Big brother Ethan not quite as thrilled with little sister as we are, but he'll get used to her, I'm sure.

Still have a few weeks off from work so need to enjoy and get organized before I have to go back to the grind!

So - are you feeling ok now? Sleeping much - we could all use some details and a pic when you have time and energy to breathe!

Nothing much new here - we're all excited about Mia starting at her new school and trying to get after school activities scheduled - its very complicated. Monday - gymnastics Tuesday - Swimming - Weds -ballet Thurs - Soccer

    Exhausted yet?

    Welcome little Hannah Grace

What a pretty name! Congrats to the whole family. Hope you are feeling well soon. Can't believe you have return to work so soon.

Not much of an update with Caileigh and I. Caileigh is learning all sorts of new words and really really enjoys the use of "no Mommy". We have great fun. She is just over 21 months.

It is rather exhausting (somedays) with full time work and full time single parenting. A friend was just asking me how the romance life is going..... I can't remember what that would be like. I'm pretty selfish too, I don't think I could share Caileigh with anyone, let alone, taking time away from her to go on dates. Ugh, dates....

Well, I must say that I am glad for this board, as finding the "group" to belong is challenging given the 40+ Single Lesbian Mother by Choice with Infertility issues - - could I find anymore subcategories! lolololol

Well I'm off, so good health and happiness to all

    Welcome Hannah

Not much new here -- Anneliese started Dance classes and we are quickly trying to wrap up our remodeling projects before #2 arrives. Dp is 24w5d so we are getting excited.
