I don't think we'll get to turn the carseats!!

We were at the ped. today because one of my girls has a weird rash and I took the opportunity to weigh them. Neither of them are 20 lbs! They were both fully clothed and it was after breakfast. I was really looking forward to turning the carseats forward in a few weeks when they turn 1. That will be on November 8th.

One of them is almost there so she might make it but the other isn't even 19 lbs. Their legs are getting too long to stay backwards. I am so bummed. I know its safer, but I really wanted this to happen soon.

That stinks! It really is so much easier in the car when you can turn them. I know we will have to wait for Natalie too. I think she is only 17 something now. So unless I can get 3 lbs on her in the next 6 weeks...... Stinks too cause Natalie HATES the car still - so it will be so nice to turn her around so she can see me (and our DVD player!!)

    Hi

I understand how frustrating it is. My DS was also quite tall but lacked in weight. The rear facing car seat was becoming really uncomfortable. We had no choice but to wait but I think he needed to be 10KG and he was 9.5 when I switched his car seat. Withinh a few weeks he got to 10KG.

Hope she cathes up quickly for the new car seat.

Kai is 27lbs and almost one and still facing the back . If he minded it, it may be turned around by now, but he loves looking at himself in the mirror - so, it was easy to leave it that way. We will turn it around after his first birthday on 11/8. YIKES! Can't believe how close it is. Oh, and for those of you that know Kai is a lazzzy boy - he is finally crawling. Kicking butt over the last few days. Don't know how you did it any earlier - now we really have to keep an eye on him. It was so easy before

we turned Landon around about 2 weeks before his birthday. He was the weight but I think he did better rear facing. He won't fall asleep as easily in his seat anymore. Soooo much to miss
