    Discovered his p*nis :)

It is quite the funny sight to see him grabbing himself everytime the diaper comes off. The trick is to distract him enough when he has a poopie diaper - or we are in BIG trouble

    Anyone else in that boat??

I'm in that same boat. My DS has eczema and I wondered if it made his privates more itchy because the moment the diaper is off his hands are reaching down...

Or maybe that's just normal little boy behavior....

Add little girls to that list! B is older, but has just in the couple of weeks discovered that there is something different down there. She thinks it's very funny to grab at! I try my best to not react - knowing that that encourages her more!

I think it's normal for all babies to do that!

DD is always down there as soon as her diaper comes off thats why when I know it's a poopy diaper I give her something she have been dying to get like the lotion bottle or something to keep distracted. I also have issues of her spinning around when there is a poopy diaper. One day dh was changing and he starts screaming so I run in there and she kept spinning around and he didn't have a good enough hold on her and he had poop all over him, there was poop all over the changing table pad and all over her legs and feet. It was tubby time - lol.

kmommy - oh, your time will come - he will find it sooner or later and you will be cringing every time he looks like he is going to tear the thing off.

Oh boy! Jake only just discovered it recently - but he grabs at it, pinches and pulls - just like he does with his toys - OUCH!!
I wince every time he does it - but like others I try to distract him with a toy first.
Luckily he only just discovered his feet too - and prefers to play with them in the bath - phew!!
