    About the embark on PGS....

We are hoping to go for EC this coming week, after the Ultra short Flare protocol ( let me hasten to add there isn’t anything short about it, 18 days of injecting so far)
I know there are a few hurdles that we have to jump before testing can happen.

What are others experiences with this topic?

I'm sorry, what does EC stand for? I'm drawing a blank... Egg retrieval + fertilization?

Oh jeez...now I'm embarrassed I'll keep you in my thoughts this week, Kripke, as you wait for your results.

It takes 21 days to get results in Australia. As we are based on the West Coast and all testing is done over East. IVF is all about waiting About the embark on PGS....

Waiting: The Unspoken Side of IVF -- I feel like people know there's a lot of waiting, but you just don't know that sense of waiting dread until you're in it. Sending you strength and patience

    Hi there,

I suppose I'm one of the luckier ones. You lose a good half of your batch throughout the entire ordeal.

For me it went like this: 19 retrieved, 17 fertilized, and 9 made it day 5. All 9 send for PGS, 7 came back normal. All seven have now been frozen.
