    Appropriate age difference?

What do you consider an appropriate age difference between a couple in a relationship?

It doesn't matter as long as both people are on the same "level" maturity-wise. I have a problem with 40 year old guys being "father figures" to 18 year old girls, because they aren't equal partners in the relationship. But as long as both people are happy and the relationship is healthy (not one partner being a parent or controlling the other), who cares?

Life is too short to worry about numbers!

I always thought, as long as they are happy who cares? Then my dad started dating someone younger than me...it threw me for a minute, but I came around....i am back to who cares.

You didn't know that? See I am a real narcissist; I assume everyone here knows everything about me

Here we are - the 20 year difference doesn't show TOO much (yet):
