    Game: Would you?

This is a popular game on other boards. However, I thought we could take this game to a new level focusing on relationships
The game is very simple. I will start off with a question beginning with "would you..."
The next poster responds to the question and asks a question of her own starting with "would you..."

    Here is the first question:

Would you change your appearance to please your spouse?

sure...but nothing too drastic...If he said somthing like "I've always wondered what you would look like with red hair.." I'd consider doing a temporary wash or something like that to be his fantasy girl for the day.

Would you...ever go out of your way to make another person's life miserable if they were cruel/mean to your spouse? (something like a coworker, past friend, etc)

No, but I would distance myself from them, and even not help along with anything in my power (like a promotion or something.....

Would you get a pet (or not), if spouse wanted one and you did (or didn't).

No way! And I wouldn't be with anyone who would ask me to change what I believe.

Would you work outside the home and let your DH be a stay-at-home-dad?

This is a hard question for me... I am ashamed to say this, but I have definate notions of male and female roles in a marriage, and I'm not sure I would be able to handle a SAHD without some adjustment (although in the right necessary circumstances, I would try). My answer is: possibly

Would you relocate to a foreign country where you did not know the language or culture for your spouse?

I know this sounds wishy washy, but yes I would move to another country/culture with (or for) my dh, if I felt it was a country where safety of me or my kids wouldn't be an issue.

Would you consider giving up your family (of orgin) for your spouse?
    (ie, they might disown you?)

No. There is nothing more important than family. Spouses come and go, but family - a good family- is forever. (now if the family had an issue like racism against my spouse or a religious issue, I would do whatever I could to convince them otherwise, and then deal with the consequences if they chose not to accept him).

Would you get breast implants if dh asked you to?

Yes, I would get implants and intend on having some work done in another few years. It's not that big of a deal to me, to me, they are just boobs. However DH will not let me get surgery done to my face.

Would you forgive a spouse who cheated but is truly remorseful and wants to get counseling to work on your relationship?

    Absolutely.

Would you ever throw out something important to your spouse if you thought you could get away with it? (something really dear to him that you just hated!)
