Testicular Atrophy led to Azospermia - IVF Option?

    Hi All,

My husband has testicular atrophy on both sides. This is the primary reason for zero sperm. Doctors are saying there is 1% chance to retrieve any immature sperm. We are debating if this micro TESE is required with 1% chance. Accordingly we are planning to do IUI with donor sperm or IVF with back up as donor.

Me no issues. Just need to get pregnant.

Have any one been through testicular atrophy and given birth to healthy baby??

    Hi preet2018,

I'm sorry to hear about your husband, it sounds like you have a good plan in place. Out of curiosity, have you met with a reproductive urologist or just a your fertility doctor? If you haven't spoken with a urologist who specializes in male factor infertility, that might be a great source of information for you.
