    Viscosity issues

My Dh has high viscosity, so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas to help this. He is now taking vitamins, Coq-10, and pycogenol. I was wondering if this would help that issue along with low morphology, motility, and mobilitiy.

I know women can use cough syrup to help thin out cm, so wondering if anything to help out on the male side.

My dh had the same thing. We used a product called Fertilmale and after three months saw a major improvement.

dawnymarie - in what areas did you see the improvement and by how much?

my DH just had another SA done and haven't gotten the results yet.

dh was on Fertilmale for about 3 months and original results were about 17 million with high turbid viscosity and motility around 30%. He last results where 56 million with normal viscosity and motility around 80%. Very big difference for us.

dawnymarie- i think i might get that for DH. did you buy it at GNC stores? we're dealing w/ morph issues but if it can double the counts in all areas, it could increase our chances naturally.

We had this problem last month and this month our RE told DH to drink tons of water in the 48 or so hours before the IUI. She said it worked for another guy in the office having the same problem. It worked. DH's sample was fine this time. It seems pretty basic, but easy to do.

PS- It didn't help his morph issues.

Bianca - we bought them at a vitamin world. However, I know not all of the stores carry them. Once we got the first bottle and he tried it we ordered the rest online.

It is Fertilmale, that is the product name. I think the web address is the same. Make sure not to include the e on Fertile.

    Dawn, thanks

for the clarification. I just googled, and found it. But I also saw that FTC filed Civil Contempt Action Against Lane Labs for claiming Fertil Male's ability to improve male fertility (in Jan 2007). It's all so confusing. Anyone else who used it and had improvements in sperm analysis?

Also, I just found this link - talks about the key ingredient in fertil male. Quite interesting... I guess no harm in trying. But DH is already taking so many pills.
