    Lightbulb What's For Dinner Tonight!!

Thought this might get things moving as well as give some of us some ideas!! I know just what we need after reading Grainne's thread!!! Sorry

I am making steak and chicken on the grill. (Yes it's 40 degrees outside but it's still Spring!!!) I think I'm making mushroom risotto and green beans as well to go with it.

    MMMmmmm that sounds good.

Unfortunatley my dinners are being prepared by my DH for a while so it will probably be pogo's and french fries. All baked and not fried, but still not the healthiest.

The things we eat when dh is in charge!
I have to be at the hospital at 6pm, so I'm making something easy! Strawberry Spinach Salad, a Pampered Chef Recipe. My kids don't really like it, so they get sandwiches, but dh and I pig out!

Are you kidding!! It's a Pampered Chef Recipe...easssyyy! You can buy bagged spinach and the hardest thing to make is the dressing, which isn't too bad either!

Thanks though! I DO love to be praised! LOL!!

Pork chops, mashed potatos (simply potatos are the BEST for quick and easy...1st time mommies will nderstand the need for quick and easy soon enough...enjoy your gourmet now!)
steamed broccoli will complete our meal and I don't know what is happening but my girls are eating the broccoli!!!!

BTW...does anyone know a recipe for pork chops where they end up moist? Mine are SO DRY sometimes!

Kathyd - you need the calcium right now so that Hagan Daaz is really good for you!!...that's what I keep telling myself anyway.

    Casey~

This is my favorite pork chop recipe! They are called "Chicken Baked Pork Chops."

Sprinkle both sides of 4 pork chops with salt and pepper. Brown both sides slowly on a greased pan. Place pork chops in a 9x13in baking dish.
Mix 1 can cream of chicken soup, 2/3 cup milk and 1/3 cup water. Mix well. Pour over pork chops and bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes.
It goes great with rice and a veggie. Pour extra sauce over pork chops and rice!

We had parmesan chicken, green beans and rice. for dessert we had ambrosia, which Liv helped me make. It was so funny she kept calling it pot-pouri (not sure if I even spelled that right.). Anyway, it was all very good!
