    Exclamation Gatlin health

So new thing with Gatlin. We don't know if he had a seizure. I went in his room in the am to get him last Sunday and found him violently shaking. We have a family history of epilepsy and diabetes i gave him frosting in his cheek before i did anything in case his sugar was low Called pediatricians office and took him in. They did lab work and it was only 60 after 3 sippys of on frosting and grapes and cheese.
Today we have an EEG test that will take two hours. I had to keep him up most of the night in hopesthat he will sleep through the test.
Please pray this is an easy fix and that we don't find something wrong other than the hypoglycemia.

Oh my gosh Casey that must've been so scary! Thank God you have medical training n know what to do.. I'm sure that aided in keeping you calm. Let us know how the EEG goes.

If he has the hypoglycemia will you have to check his blood sugars on a regular basis?

Eeg test came back normal thankgod. So no epilepsy. He could have had a seizure because they think his sugar was so low. Still waiting to hear back from led endocrinologist.
    So far no more episodes.

So we've been checking gatlins sugar every am for the past couple weeks and it's been fine. No othe times where it was in the teens. No other episodes. I have no clue why that happened and the pediatric endochrinologist said to keep checking sugars until further notice.
Owen had a trip to Er for having been constipated so bag he couldn't push it out. Took two enemas and the docs manually getting it out. Horrendous for him and mom. He's been on a vegan diet for the past couple days to ease his digestion and dose of miralax everyday.

Yikes Casey! You have had your hands full. I'm glad Gatlin's blood sugars have been okay. Hopefully a change in diet will help Owen. Lots of fruit is what helps keep Patrick's bowels in check.
