    Months vs. Weeks

Can someone tell me at which weeks you change over to the next month of PG? I know that 4 weeks does not corelate to 1 month....was curious, because people ask how many months and look at you wierd when you say weeks instead.

Well, take the date of your last period...Mine was April 28th or something like that. Then, on May 28th, you'd be one month. June 28th, 2 mos. That's how I've done it!

I have a hard time figuring out months and always tell people the number of weeks - hardly anyone asks me how many months.

I usually tell people how many weeks I am because it doesn't even out. A pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks, which technically means you are pregnant for 10 months. I think I've only ever said how many months pregnant I was last time around until I was 7 or 8 months (I didn't quite make it to 9 months). Why does it have to be so confusing???

I don't know my LMP so for months I use my due date. It works. At 18 wks (this Friday) my pregnancy is 4 mths old. I will be starting my 5th month. So 50/50 your book is correct.

    It is so confusing.

I seem to use weeks too, I may start months when I am really showing though, or just tell people I am due Jan 16th and let them figure it out. lol

I hardly ever tell people when I'm actually due...unless they ask. I'd rather tell them I'm 18 wks along than tell them I'm due in January, which seems WAY far off!!
