I am back! A miracle has happened

    Ok girls,
Its so good to say that I am back. I hope everyone is ok with me joining you again. I posted 8 weeks ago, about saying goodbye....

On Tuesday during my annual pap, we found out my m/c was misdiagnosed.
At first we beleived that I must have conceived after the m/c, which seemed impossible because I'd yet not had a period. Then I thought that my hormone level just never leveled, and something was wrong there. Since everything was unclear, and I'd had some pelvic pain, she sent my for a u/s asap.

When the tech turned the screen to me there was a fully developed fetus, measuring 12wks5days. So I am now into my 13th week of pregnancy.
After all of the anger I felt towards the er that diagnosed, I am now just happy that this miracle has happened. Everything looks healthy so far but I will still be seeing a peri for care.

I hope I can join all of you again, and share experiences with you all. Since I am the end of January, the 31st, hopefully all of your weeks ahead of me will give me the heads up on symptoms and things to expect!
Hugs to all, great to be back

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats! Truly a miracle. Didn't any of your docs think it was weird that you hadn't bled from the "m/c"(assuming you hadn't)?? Or were you bleeding at the ER when the m/c was diagnosed? Welcome back!

What an amazing story, and a wonderful outcome. How strange that your m/c was misdiagnosed. Take care and welcome back!

Thanks girls for all of your support. Unfortunately the medical care in our area is quite horrible, and if anything ever arises again with this pregnancy I will be traveling out of town for treatment. Its worth the hour drive. My peri is also in a larger city, where the medical treatment is quite different. So I have confidence everything will be taken care of properly for the rest of the months to come. Thanks to all, I can't wait to grow big with all of you.

How horrible the ER did that to you! How wonderful that your little miracle is still in there and thriving. Congrats!

CONGRATULATIONS Nette! I can't belive they made such a huge misdiagnosis but like you said, I imagine you are just thrilled at how things have worked out. That is so wonderful.
