    Had nuchal scan today

The u/s lasted long, maybe 1/2 hour. They gave me preliminary results that the nuchal measurement is only 1.3. They get concerned when it is 3.0 or higher. They also did a finger prick. I'll get the results next week. They are mainly testing for Downs and Trisomy 18. I will probably do the amnio anyway just so I have the peace of mind knowing (hopefully) that I am having a healthy baby. They said that they can do the amnio as early as 15 weeks.

Sounds like yours went well, I had mine today as well. I'll also get the complete results next week. I don't remember my measurement number but the u/s tech and the perinatologist said everything looks great.
