Anyone have Varicose Veins with PG

I sure do only on my left leg, up in my backside of my thigh. I ordered the new Mama Spanx footless hose to try and control the issue while wearing capri's. I know I will have to have them fixed next year, but wow they are really ugly this pg. They started with my twin pg, I know 40% of pg women get them, why me I guess. Mine do not hurt at all just look ugly, anyone else have them?

I had them starting before I even got pregnant (in just my left leg also), but my cause is from a blood clot I had when I was younger. They have already started to get worse, so I got a prescription for support stockings, but with it being in the 90's every day, I only wear them when I work, which is really where I need them most because I am a nurse and on my feet all day. I was warned that I would get them, I just hope they don't get out of hand, but my hematologist already is telling me they will most likely get bad. Good luck with your's.

    Faye,

Probably TMI here, but I got them you know where with my last pg. I had no idea that you could get a varicose vein down there, but came to find out that it happens. If your leg ones are as painful as mine were, I totally feel for you. I could hardly walk towards the end because the pressure was so much. I am praying I don't get them again with this pg or any others in my legs. By the way, with vaginal ones, as soon as you deliver they go away. That's the only good news about them.

I hope yours don't cause you too much trouble this time around. We both know it's all worth it in the end, but man, do they hurt!!!!

I had them in my right leg before pg. I have had them for a while. With my last pg after I delivered him that right foot swelled up so badly I could not wear a shoe for several days. I also need to get them fixed after as this is my last baby.

Oh, I hope it doesn't cause any pain for you!! (((HUGS)))

And Jodi, one of the mommies on the 2+ BB had varicose veins in the same spot! I can't imagine! I hope you don't have to deal with them this time!

Mine actually looked fair today, never good but fair is better than 2 days ago, they were popping looking! Mine do not hurt though so guess that is a good thing. Good luck all!
