Have You Cut Out Any Food Or Drinks That You Really Miss?

For me, the two big ones are peanut butter and coffee. I did not eat or drink either one with my first pg either, but I am already missing them more this time around. Has anyone else cut out anything that they are now craving??

I can't think of anything in particular that I've cut out and am now really craving. I do miss red wine. I also miss soft cheese that we're not supposed to eat like feta and chevre. I'm still eating peanut butter - I ate it all through my first pregnancy and we don't have a history of any peanut (or any other food) allergies on either side of the family.

I don't think there is anything that I was eating or drinking before that I need to cut out of my diet. I don't drink alcohol, coffee or any other caffeinated beverages to begin with. I don't eat the soft cheeses either. I probably could cut down on the sweets, though!

I miss wine, ceaser salad, coffee, and cold cuts. DD had just weaned a week before I had found out I was pg. She had severe reactions when I had any caffeine, so I hadn't had any in almost 2 years. Then for a week I got it back!!!! Then I found out I was pg! It was so short lived. LOL

I seriously fwwl like I have been pregnant or nursing for the last 4 years. I will be ready to have my body back to myself after this new one weans!!!

Jodi- Just curious, but what's so bad about caesar salad and cold cuts (I'm assuming you mean deli meat)??

Not yet because the thought of any food still turns my stomach. As soon as this m/s is over I know I will miss my daily cup of hot tea with Equal, especially during the winter.

Dr. Pepper here as well. The other day I went to Cousin's Subs, and filled my cup just a little with Dr. Pepper, and Oh did it taste good!

I miss ceasar salad, cold cuts, coffee, wine/beer, brie & camembert cheese, & most of all SUSHI!!!

Does anyone else feel like they are eating all the time? I'm even eating when I'm not hungry just to eat the right amounts of all the foods you are supposed to eat during pg'cy - & it's even more for twins! I feel like I'm constantly shoving food in my mouth!

I think it is the ceaser dressing. I'm trying to remember what exactly it is. I think it may have raw eggs in it? I know it's a no no from my other two pgs.

As far as the cold cuts, there is danger of listeria from deli meat. I would think restaraunts would be particularly bad. My favorite thing in the whole world is a turkey sandwich. After I had DS, my DH friend brought me a huge turkey sub to the hopsital. It was sooooo good!!
