IUI tomorrow - should I take off work?

Tomorrow I have my first IUI scheduled. Does anyone think I should take the rest of the day off after the procedure? Does it really make a difference if I lay around all day? I have the time at work to take off, but I work so close to my RE's office, that it isn't inconvenient to go back......

    (pg ment)

They say you can go back to work or most of your everyday activities, however, if you think you'll have any regrets or beat yourself up over not resting should you get a BFN, I would suggest to go home and lye down and relax.

They say the sperm cannot 'fall out', but I took it easy and relaxed all day (for both days of my IUI's) and I just got a BFP today.

It's all about how you will feel and a personal preference.

Wishing you the best of a luck and a BFP!

I agree with fetch. I take the day off but I have been told it is not necessary. I also get a bit crampy so I usually rent a couple movies and spend the day thinking of ANYTHING else.

Good luck tomorrow. May the sperm be with you.
