    please help interpret these results

I just had my routine blood test done and this is the result. I am trying to figure it out. Im 38 years, trying to conceive with the second baby. My first one is 21 months and I stopped breastfeeding 4 months ago and still have no period.

    FSH 8.1 mIU/ml
    normal range
    follicular phase 2.5-10.2
    mid cycle peak 3.1 - 17.7
    luteal phase 1.5 - 9.1
    postmenopausal 23.0- 116

    LH 1.8
    follicular phase 1.9-12.5
    mid cycle peak 8.7 - 76.3
    luteal phase 0.5 - 16.9
    postmenopausal 10.0 - 54.7

    PROGESTERONE <0.5
    folicular phase <1.0
    luteal phase 2.6 - 21.5
    postmenopausal < 0.5

    ESTRADIOL 33 pg/ml
    follicular phase 19-144
    mid cycle peak 64- 357
    luteal phase 56 - 214

I think it is difficult to interpret b/c you haven't had a period and therefore don't know what part of the cycle you are in, if any. Based on those numbers, you seem to be in the follicular stage, which I would expect (although I'm definitely not a doctor). Your FSH seems pretty good for someone 38 years old.

Did they check your prolactin levels? If your level is still high from breastfeeding, it could be delaying your period returning.

never checked prolactin. What I also see is that progesteron is really low, could this be also the case?

    My Mood
    Bashful
Progesterone (P4) goes up after ovulation and drops prior to a period. A low P4 typically means a woman had not ovulated yet, or she did and is about to get her period. When a woman is cycling, blood work is taken Cycle Day 3 (CD3) to assess fertility. I preferred AFC count to FSH and AMH (you can google these) as an indicator of my fertility. I cannot comment on the delayed mensus b/c personally I menstruated regularly while BF. Although, now that I think about it, after BCP (fake pg), I needed a shot to get me cycling again. FX you are on track for #2 soon...

Prolactin. 1.6L ng/ml normal range non pregnant 3.0-30
    post menopausal. 2.0-20

    what does it means?
I stopped breastfeeding end of May, since then I havent had period back.

    Very informative!
What would you expect a 35 year old FSH to be on Day 2 after 3 weeks of BC?

    My AMH is 1.9

My AFC on Day 2 was 5 on L and 7 on right

    Thoughts??
