***Barge ments Tryn Hang in there. Blood isn't always a sign that one or either is fading. I started bleeding at 5 weeks with my IVF baby and continued to bleed golf ball sized clots well into my 25th week. Turns out it was just a pesky SCH that liked to bleed a lot. Didn't end up effecting our thb a single bit. Apparently they are more common with IVF pregnancies than people talk about. I know it's hard but stay positive. **end

Tryn: i agree with what jlsmit said...bleeding is definitely more common in IVF and FETs. I had bleeding at 5 and a half weeks. It was bright red with very large clots and I even had some cramping. I was devastated and thought it was over, but had an ultrasound the next day and we saw the heartbeat. They never found the cause of the bleed, which was nerve wracking, but it only happened that one day, and lasted really heavy about 4-5 hours and then slowed down and was gone by morning. I can totally relate to how nervous you must feel. Is your doc willing to check your progesterone levels or do an ultrasound so that you can get some reassurance?
    Praying for you!

Thankyou so much ladies, the bleeding was very short and no clots but it scared me to death. My re said they will do ultrasound if i want but want to wait if i can as they dont want to irritate my cervix, and eant to see heartbeat for sure, ill wait.. i guess they are just worried about a pelvic exam the most... good call on progesterone lvl. Ill ask monday.. my re is really good about doing what i want.. i pay them for everything and they only do my transfers. I do all tests and pre scans and tests here in MT.. all my ultrasound, labs EVERYTHING..its great for them .
