No insurance either that covers it? Or finance it through some clinics? I don't know of this happens every where but there are IVF programs in clinic that are guranteed or your money back or a discount, something like that. IVF cost alot and it is not 100% guranteed so if you drink, smoke, os over weight, start improving those areas while you are trying to work out a plan. Although I'm not an advocate of getting into debt. Another option is to get with a solid spending plan/budget and save for it. It may mean no eating out, no movies, no vacation, packing you own lunch for work, no new clothes for a while etc., and save every penny you have that's not going to bills. It can be done. I read where another couple did that. Best of luck.

P.S. I'm a Dave Ramsey fan and he had a free budget planner call every dollar and a book call total money makeover that can help you with saving etc. The sacrifice will be work it.

Have you looked into traveling to a different state. We saved over $10,000 by traveling to New York to a clinic that was very reasonably priced compared to here in va. We also only owed a portion down and the clinic allowed us to pay payments interest free for the next year after that. Send me a message and I can give more details if interested.

I have a friend who couldn't get pg for 5 years, moderate male factor, unexplained female factor, travelled for IVF which was converted to IUI for lack of follies and was a BFN. Major disappointment. Then she got pg naturally --- multiple times over the years. Major surprise. In retrospect, it appeared all she had needed was to have a uterine polyp removed, or else the failed IVF shifted something. If you can't afford medical care I've heard folks were successful after radical life changes, e.g. Partner gets new job and something shifts. I considered moving to a state with mandated IVF coverage, and foster to adopt (which was an amazing experience fostering itself). Hang in there.
