"Go me" is right! Is Scotland really that temperate? I think of it as being really far north and really cold. I must be wrong . . . (not the first time, I might add ). Do you have to do anything to protect them from the cold so early in the season?

hmmm temperate.. hmmm.. it's currently -7 degrees C (which is 19.2 Degrees Farenheit) and we have an inch of snow left (we had about a foot of snow last week but it's mostly melted excepet further up the hill) but i have planted them and popped them in a growhouse/giant propogator.

When the risk of frost has past i'll transplant them outside.

Ahhhh, okay, I'm not feeling so silly in the geography department now. So do you have an actual stand-up-inside greenhouse?

Here is a link to a small one that looks neat.

That would be a good thread - who has a greenhouse. If you have one, can we see pictures or hear how big it is? I want one eventually.

Neat. Do you place it against a sunny wall (south or west, I'd guess) or is there some other means of heating it?

Do you have pictures of the progress on the new one? I'm sure everyone here would like to see it as it comes along!

Me, me! I'd love to see it if you don't mind sharing the pics. I'll just live through you for now.
