So I was bit by the Spring Bug...

Went to Home Depot today to get paint supplies and weatherstripping. Walked out with about $100 worth of bulbs and plants. I JUST COULDN'T RESIST!!! They were all so pretty.

So much for my $0 gardening because I use coupons that I had been planning....

Oh goody! I was hoping you'd say you had gone into the store for a little something and come out with garden things out the wazoo!

Oh I'll totally buy more flowers. We just moved in, and can I tell you this garden has no structure, and roses seemingly scattered everywhere. So I KNOW KNOW KNOW I should wait a year, and see what comes up where but I don't think I can do it!

I was inspired by Katrack and raked up a bunch of leaves that are nicely decomposing (and I actually USED MY RAKE. WITH MY OWN ARMS!) and am going to buy a composter thingy. Because I fear we have not only moss, but the dreaded clay soil.

But I am bound and determined to have a beautiful deck of potted bulbs!

How fun! I need to do some mowing (already, ugh!) and then get busy planting.
