    Milk Intolerance

I’ve notice lately when I have milk - eat cereal with milk, I get sick. I usually feel a discomfort and end up vomiting. Could I have developed intolerance to milk while pregnant? I eat yogurt fine. Is this common? Should I get tested?

    Thanks.

Hi Lilacs, I'm sorry to hear milk seems to bother you, the body does weird things while pregnant To be safe though, I recommend checking with your doctor or midwife to make sure this is par for the course and not something to evaluate.
Thanks Lilacs thanked for this post

Thanks! I’ve checked with my RN and she’s recommended to take tums afterwards and see if that helps. She’s suspecting that my body is having a harder time digesting lactose during pregnancy with the growing uterus pushing everything up. So we shall see how this works out for me.

I'm so glad you got some answers!! I know my good friend walked around with the fruity Tums bottle and popped them like candies when she was pregnant. She said they were a lifesaver. I hope they work for you too
