    Do you have a Kitchenaid

Not sure if this has been asked before...but do you have one and used it often enough? We were thinking of getting one...they are so expensive though I am wondering if we would even get a lot of use out of it.

I have a Kitchenaid 9-speed hand mixer, but not the stand mixer. I drool over the stand mixer, but it would rarely get used, collect lots of dust, take up important counter or cabinet space and the thing is pretty darn heavy! That said, I love, love, love my hand mixer. The variety of speeds is great and it has a strong enough motor to handle "most" of my peanut butter candy filling.

I have the Kitchenaid Stand mixer and LOVE it! It's my favorite thing in the kitchen. Does an amazing job and while things are mixing, I can be doing something else

NO. I think I wanted one because everyone else seems to have one. After much thought, I don't think I need one. I don't have any real complaints about the items I currently use. Maybe if I HAD one, I'd feel different.

I have one and I absolutely LOVE it!! I don't know what I did without it. I use it all the time. It's great cause it's always out and ready to use. Like Robbie said, it's great, while it's mixing you can be doing something else.

When I was saying I wanted one everyone told me you'll never use it, it'll collect dust. Boy were they wrong!

I have both the stand mixer and the 9-speed hand mixer. I love them both - and wouldn't give up either of them. Like Robbie, I love that I can do other things while my stand mixer is working away. Sometimes though I love the quick and easy convenience of my hand mixer.

I have both the Kitchenaid stand mixer and the Cuisinart food processor. I use both almost all the time love them. Best of all, the pieces are dishwasher safe.

Yup. I have the stand mixer all boxed up and waiting for me back in the States.

I have to admit I haven't used it all that much because I think it's easier to use the light hand mixer. One New Year's Eve I used it to make a pound cake for a party. It was by far the lightest pound cake I have ever made. I plan to use the stand mixer more frequently when I go back to the States.
