How do you store cup cakes

    Hi Ladies

When I make cup cakes (usually at least 24) I always have a problem trying to store them. I end up using so many tuppleware containers as you can't put them on top of each other (I put icing on them). So I thought I would ask you ladies to see if any of you have some good suggestions. How do you store your cup cakes ?

    Thanks

I have a large oblong cake saver by Tupperware that holds 12 I think. I also have an octagonal bakery box that holds 2 layers of cupcakes, cookies, pies or cakes... it was a qvc thing from my MIL years ago.

I was also going to mention the rectangular cake taker by Tupperware - has spots specifically for cupcakes/muffins. That's what I have, too.

The times I've made them usually half get eaten on the spot, and the rest get saved in a long Tupperware container I have.

How do you store cup cakes

    In my belly...

But the truth is.... I probably just store them in however many tupperware containers I have. I have to make them for daycare this Friday and am not sure how I'll do it yet. Sometimes, I'll make a homemade box. You can line, say a Gap box, with foil. At home, we usually eat things quickly too. I sometimes leave stuff out on a plate, maybe cover it lightly with wax paper overnight.

    Eli,

I love your foil lined box idea! I'm going to remember that for the future. Sometimes I just don't want to take my Tupperware becasue I don't know if I'll ever see it again.

We usually don't have them around that long either! I have used a foil lined shirt box as well or a tupperware to bring them somewhere.
