Looking to talk to someone who has had eggs/embryos in storage for many years

    Hello all,

I'm a radio storyteller and I'm working on a story about my sister, who has frozen her eggs and embryos. I'd like to talk with someone who has had frozen eggs or embryos in storage for many years (ideally 10 years). I just want to talk to you about how you think of your frozen eggs/embryos and how you decide how long to keep them in storage.

You can email me off-list at allisonquantz(at)gmail(dot)com. Thank you so much for your time!

    Allison

    Hi Allison,

I think you will have better luck on the Frozen Embryo Transfer forum. Please keep it to one post so as not to bother the users of the community. Good luck!

Are there any real studies that the freezing process damages any of the dna or cells?

cryopreservation is not a benign process and many of the functions of the cell may be affected. We are yet to understand all of these factors .
