Do you and dh (or dw!) have similar faith?

I am curious because dh and I are in very different places spiritually. I have heard though, that often times, although the man is the head of the household, the woman is the heart and leads the household to faith.

    So, how's your household?

I am the more spiritual one! DH does go to church with me every Sunday and he does serve. However, at first, he went because I wanted him to. Now, I think he goes for himself. He isn't totally where I am yet. I'm praying that he gets there!!

I think like in anything one person is more involved then the other, or in different ways. DH goes to church and to church dinner with us but I am the one who volunteers and spends a ton of time there... Run the nursery, etc. But DH volunteers for things he "knows" how to do (like tech stuff) and I couldn't do what I do at church if he weren't there to watch the kids and give me the time to use my gifts at church.

Dh and I are both equal in our spirituality...and we share the same faith. I actually see DH going forward and leading our household, which a year ago was my role. PRAISE GOD!

Dh and I have always shared the same faith. It is one of the things that first attracted me to him. We have also shared in our ministries together. We have been leading worship together for 6 years, and have taught marriage classes and teen classes together. He's always been around to help me with choir/cantata.
I know many who don't share the same faith, or who may not be at the same point in their walk with the Lord. I have seem some wonderful women "lead" their husbands to Christ by their own sweet testimony. Timothy wrote of the powerful influence Lois and Eunice (his mother and grandmother) had on his life. Thankfully, there are still many women who are stepping in to lead their households to faith.

My dh is the head of the household and stepping up to teach and bring me to the faith I now have is only one of the amazing things God has used him for. So, yes, we are of similar faith and we work together to teach and share the Good News.

I'm a mainstream type of Christian and my husband was raise as a JW. It makes things complicated. He celebrates B-days and Christmas, but when it comes to taking my children to church he has a big problem with that. I dont yet know what to do about this.
