    Defrosted BM

I defrosted some BM yesterday that was about 2 weeks old, and when it thawed, I noticed that had some curdles in it, even after shaking it. Is this normal? What are the signs that thawed BM is no good?

    Thanks.

Spoiled b/m will smell really nasty and your baby won't drink it.

The curdles were probably globs of fat. They usu form during freezing, making frozen ebm look spotted. If you heat the ebm a little more, that should 'melt' the globs.
