    Extremely low beta 10dp5dt

    Hello,

Second attempt FET B4CC on Jan 8/18, with cramping since Jan 15/18. Clinic did ultrasound Jan 18/18 (10dp5dt) and saw 2 mm "circle", doctor refused to comment on what it could be (gestation sac?) as it was too early. Same day beta came back at .77.

Original beta date is Jan 22/18 and clinic still wants me to test as "a lot can change". Thoughts?

Please test, not sure why they did US. You won't be able to see much till about 7 weeks. Is your beta 0.77 or 77?

US was done to look for fluid build up or a cyst. Secretary initially said beta was negative but specified the value at .77 when I asked for it. It is unlikely to see anything but not impossible. Transvaginal ultrasound can detect pregnancies at approximately 4 ½ to 5 weeks gestation.

0.77 is a negative beta. Anything under 5 is considered negative, between 5 and 10 is equivocal. I don't know what they might have seen inside the uterus...possibly blood? But they wouldn't have been able to see a gestational sac that early. I'm so sorry.

Let's pray the secretary saying .77 was a mistake and they meant 77 fingers crossed for you.

Unfortunately, she said "negative" before following up with the value of 0.77. She then told me "a lot could change" and test again.

77 would be considered positive according to the lab sheet for quantitative bhcg. Second beta this morning (15dp5dt), although expectations are very low at this point. I wish I could attach the picture of the ultrasound; however, the attach function does not want to work for me! This a direct link if interested: https://i.imgur.com/hF7TVBE.jpg

Well, that is highly unusual. Are you on a progesterone supplement? That's an extremely high prog level!
