    Favorite birthday gift for LO

So, did your LO get a favorite gift? I figure you guys would be the best to ask since you all just celebrated!
I feel like Gabe needs everything right now. He has outgrown almost everything that he owns and I still have not bought him his first pair of shoes (even though he has been walking for over 2 months )!! We have a lot of toys in the house so I know he doesn't NEED anything like that but it would be nice to get him some things that are his own and not just handed down from the other kids...I need to get him some new books that are more for a boy instead of uni-sex.

So, what were your favorite books, toys, clothes, or shoes that your 1 year old is enjoying?

    Shoes - Stride Rite.

Toys - The fisher price laugh and learn table. He also has a laugh and learn shopping cart that he enjoys.

Books- he has some board books by Susan Boyton that he likes. He prefers chewing them to reading them, but he does look at the pictures before he starts chomping on them.

LOL, yes, Stride Rite shoes are a must!! My MIL retired from Stride Rite after 20+ years so ALL of our kids shoes have been SR, with the exception of Robeez (which you can buy at SR stores)!!

Love, love those Susan Boyton books though it has been a couple years since I have bought any so there may be some new ones we don't have. I will have to take a look, thank for the idea!

On etsy, there was a guy that makes puzzles with our kids names. I thought it was unique and would help with spelling down the road.

Also, I got her some touch and feel books - Usborne Books are a huge hit here. They love to touch/feel them and a few have a button for animal sound. Connor loves the TRUCK book! CC likes My Duck (it has a button that quacks). If he's walking, how about a bubble mower? We did a big gift of a water table that both kids love...

Just a few ideas. OH, and both of them love the Scout/Violet stuffed animal from Leap Frog. It's programmable with the kids names, favorite things, etc.

    Goood luck!!!

I was so excited to get this for Patrick, and he could care less about it.

Thanks for that reminder! DD has a step stool that has her name with removable puzzle letters. I love that thing! I hadn't even thought of getting one for Gabe. I didn't think about surfing etsy either!
    Thanks!

Allie likes her Violet toy. She also likes her Dora push and sit car. But for now her favorite things are the things in the kitchen drawers like measuring cups and spoons. Working on child proofing the house.
