There must be something in the water

At my last doctor appointment following my miscarriage, my OB gave us the go ahead to stop using protection and try again. And wouldn't you know it...

    I'm pregnant!!!

I had my first beta yesterday and we are waiting on the results. My OB told us to be cautiously optimistic. I found out on Monday if I will need to do the PIO shots again, which is likely if my P4 level is low.

I am very excited, but a little scared. I am just trying to be patient and hopeful. Worrying is going to change anything, so for know I am just rolling in the joy.

    Here are the details:

Well, it happened on a Friday night when DH got home from a trip.... JUST KIDDING!!!

    10 dpo Beta 22 Progesterone 20.4

With the miscarriage my progesterone was only 11 at 6 weeks

The doctor is very pleased, but said it is still very early. We aren't going to announce it to the world until we hear the heartbeat, at the very earliest.

I go in this afternoon for another beta, but the results won't be back until Wednesday - I sure liked the RE same day call backs a lot better.

This LO will be due on 1/22/11. Since I have had 2 c/s, a VBAC is not an option, so we will schedule our c/s - I like 1/11/11

I am on new vitamins which are really helping me feel great, with the exception of the m/s, which is mild so far. No urping just yet.

Wow - is this really happening???

I think 1/11/11 is McKenna's due date. That would be so
exciting if you both had your babies on the same day.

SYP - That would be exciting!

Considering both of my girls came at 36 weeks, I don't think I will make it that long, but I sure as heck am going to try!
