Woo hoo! We've passed the 8 lb. mark!

I just weighed Gabby yesterday, and she weighs 8 lbs. 2 oz.!! YAY!!! I think she had a growth spurt and I pray it continues. Despite this great gain, she's only at the 2nd percentile for weight (on regular CDC charts and adjusted for her being a preemie). Her nutritionist came today and we discussed a few changes that will hopefully help Gabby to put on some more weight soon. She really needs to get to 10 lbs. for her surgery, but she needs to have surgery before her lungs are permanently damaged.

She's finally filling out her newborn clothes.

Oh my goodness! She is such a peanut! Somehow being past the 8 pound mark makes it seem like she is really getting close!!! I'm glad the nutritionist had some tips for you. What did she say about Gabby only eating 12 oz. in 24 hours?
Sounds like she may be in 0-3 month clothes soon! They usually run like 8-12 pounds (though I don't know where they get that number because Gabe is well over 10 pounds now and the 0-3 months are just now fitting well).

So glad to hear things are heading the right way!!!
