    High blood pressure

I had to go on HBP meds. I always had good BP up until the last few weeks of pregnancy. Well it hasn't gone down yet. My last visit my midwife called it chronic. What the heck. 31 years old and on meds. I am hoping it is just temporary. Even though she told me I can still BF on the type of pill she put me on it still worries me. I also read it can reduce my milk supply. GREAT. I go in on the 29th to get it checked again. Oh well, I guess my health is important.

    My Mood
PM me and I'll give you my mom's email.

She is friends with Thomas Hale who wrote the medications and mother's milk book used by midwives and physicians.

You can ask her about what you are taking if it will help you feel better about it.

Is the BP related to anxiety or just organic? I am sorry you have to deal with this.

Yucks. That happened to a friend of mine too - hopefully it will slowly go down as your body returns back to normal.

My SIL's BP sky rocketed with her last PG. Eventually it did return to normal and she is no longer on meds.

Hopefully your BP starts to behave soon!!! Once you start to feel better you can always start a gradual exercise program, that can also help lower your BP
