    Question Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, Mommy

    Hello everyone,

I have not been here in a VERY long time. Just wanted to check in and say hello. My DH and I are considering TTC again so I figured I should make some time for Fertile thoughts....FT was a lifesaver.

Anyway my Alicyn is wonderful. She will be 21 months old in a few days and talking like crazy, which brings me to the question of the evening....

Do any of your sweet children say your name like 4000 times a day? I answer her immediately but she still says Mommy again and again. Just wondering if this a stage.

Hi there! Wow! Total blast from the past Good to see you checking in. Cameron does something similar. Whenever DH leaves he will ask repeatedly "Dada gone?" and I will say, "yes, Daddy went to work". And he will ask over and over. "Dada gone?" "Dada gone?" Our daycare person tells me there are days he asks all day "Mama gone?" "Dada gone?" I think it is just them illiciting conversation and knowing that they will get a response - especially since they aren't fully conversational at this point. Cam has been doing this for about a month now with no sign of letting up...I am sure that will change as he builds a larger vocabulary.

Glad to hear you and Alicyn are well

My DD will be 21 months tomorrow. If I leave the room to do something she yells after me "Ma?, Ma?, Ma?, Ma?" until I answer her. I guess she just needs to know I'm still around for security. Also if she wants something badly, like taking a bath, she will repeat that word over and over until I either relent or say no and then of course she has a whining fit LOL.

Noah does like to say Mama, but he doesn't say it all the time. I love hearing it though, so I don't think I would care if he did.

I like hearing it, just wondered if everyone else heard it as much as it feels like we do.

I agree after going through many, many years of IF I could hear those words over & over agan & it would NOT bother me at ALL!!!! A warm cuddly feeling. It's mommy, mommy, mommy when DD can't find me. Too cute!! I love it!! It's the same when daddy leaves. Daddy, daddy, daddy.
