Laporscopy, weak left ovary, need advice!!!

I have had 2 previous miscarriages, my most recent one was Febuary, we have been trying to have a baby since with no luck.. My doctor checked my tubes they are clear, my bloodwork to see if i was ovulating correctly cam back great, he then did a Laporscopy 11-12-12 he found Endometriosis, Polyps, Fluid, Adhesions and cysts.. he didnt tell me where to go from there

I changed doctors of course and had my first appointment with a Infertility Specialist yesterday, he did a internal ultrasound and found that my left ovary is much smaller than my right and isnt producing as many eggs and also has cysts on it, he said my right ovary is great.... he ordered a panel of bloodwork that i got done this morning ..he also ordered a semanalysis for my boyfriend but we found out that we cannot do it at this time bcuz my new doctor doesnt accept his insurance..

I guess what i am looking for is advice from people who have been thru this, questions i should be asking my new doctor and what everyone else has gone thru

    anything.. HELP

Hey there, Jennifer. Your boyfriend can have a semen analysis done with a urologist who accepts the insurance then fax the results to your fertility doctor. If you prefer to use one doctor, I can help you find a fertility doctor in your area who accepts both your insurance and your boyfriend's insurance. I'm so sorry you are going through this. My DH and I struggled with infertility for nearly 3 years so I completely understand the confusion and frustration you are feeling.

The questions to ask your fertility doctor are basically about how the clinic operates and your protocol. You can read them here: 10 Questions to Ask Your Fertility Doctor

    Best of luck!

Hey Kim, we are from the Scranton Wilkes Barre area in PA .. we were seeing a doctor from Allentown that has a satelite office in Clarks Summit... he said they prefer to do the test at their office bcuz they r more thuro.. im assuming now its just for them to get more money... but reguardless i was also wondering the same thing if he could get it done else where..

Thank you for your help i really appreciate it

    Hey Jennifer,

Just following up with you. How are things going? I understand that they would prefer to have it done at one facility, but if you have to pay out of pocket, find out what it would cost both at your facility and if his insurance covers it at a urologist and approach your fertility doctor with those numbers.

    Good luck!
    Kim
