I thought I would start a upbeat happy thread on why we are glad to be working moms. More of a count your blessings post.
So here goes

I am glad to be a working mom because

The number one reason : We can have enough money for the stuff now without worrying too much and some saved for the kids college fund. I can buy him books, toys, sign him up for interesting classes etc bring him out for treats, vacations without worrying too much about money.

I have a separate life from my children with my co-workers and can have people to talk to besides my kids ! Also something else to talk about besides the kids.

There is some payback for all those years of slogging through college and classes and thesis etc.

Honestly sometimes they drive me crazy so its a good excuse to work !
