Going next week 10-13 for 6 nights, with my mom and dd.
Staying very close to Spanish Steps in a 2 floor bed and breakfast on the recomendation of my AAA travel book.
We want to do see all but on a calmer pace, especially since my mom is 81 but in pretty good shape.
Most important is Vatican and all monuments, then all typical tourist stuff. May do a one day trip to Pompei and Naples but pretty expensice so will probably skip.
I am wondering about stuff like should we pay for a good guided tour of Vatian and Sisteen Chapel to make sure we get all info, then do rest on our own? Should we get tickets on those hop on, hop off buses, does the metro have escalators or mosty stairs?
