US Vacations....Where have you all been?
Planning a summer vacation and looking for ideas!!! Where in the USA have you all been? I'm open to any and all ideas!!!

Shelli, you've probably read my posts before about my love for Montana...particularly NW MT. We have spent our last two summer vacations near Whitefish...exploring Glacier Nat'l Park and we plan to return again this coming summer.
Ed and I celebrated our 5th anniversary in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We had a great time in the Tetons. Several years ago some girlfriends and I did a tour of the SW...we flew into Vegas and drove up to Zion from there, over to Page, AZ, to the four corners area and to the Grand Canyon. It was an amazing trip! And here in the SE there are lots of great places. Charleston, SC is one of my favorites. And the FL beaches cannot be beat! Gosh, I'm all over the board...love so many places!

My ds and I just returned from Nederland, Colorado and it was awesome.....cold but awesome. Nederland is an old mining town near Boulder. We plan to return in the summer.
One of my son's favorite vacations was diamond digging in Murphreesboro, Arkansas. We stayed in a cabin on a lake and it was wonderful......lots of down time. We usually make at least one beach trip to Northwest Florida.......Destin is beautiful but crowded so this year we went to St. George Island near Appalachicola and it was great. Washington DC is a great vacation spot.

Can you give me any info on Arkansas. DH & I want to go their this year. I want to dig for diamonds. TIA
