    Hi,
Where is the best place to book for a disney vacation? Any hints or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I also find that going right through Disney is the best. We are going on a Land/cruise disney vacation in November and booked directly through Disney.

    Shelli,

Why wouldn't you book through AAA? We were planning on doing just that.....

They talked us into a hotel in Downtown Disney rather than in the parks. And I was not impressed. It looked very nice on the outside, but the rooms were old and smelly! Not to mention we did not get any of the benefits of staying at the actual Disney properties (which the brochure from the hotel said we would, it was outdated). My feeling is next time I'll just do my own research and cut out the middle man and book the hotel and tickets myself thru Disney.

I compared out trip with travel agent and what price would have been through disney and the diffirence was less then $100, the only reason I think it was cheaper through our travel agency was because it was booked with military discount through a military travel agency.
