hello, one of my co workers has an issue with her eggs dying after they are fertilized. She produces eggs and they fertilize but then die before they can grow out to blast, she does transfer some but she obviously doesn't get pg. because of this. I don't know if it's "bad eggs" or what. I think her RE said something about testing her Dh sperm for a DNA issue. Any ideas? Thanks

Happenned once to us. Everything fertilized but they just pooped out. Very unusual for us too. RE checked out the fertlization for other couples that day... perhaps lab error.... perhaps culture medium wasn't great. Nothing could account for it. We did do a DNA analysis on BOTH us of us. Everything was nornal. Still no explanation for our infertility. I would do the analysis on both the DH and the DW. Might point to some balanced translocation of genes and explain why the embryos don't make it to a pregnancy or make it to term.
