Back on the round about!!! Cysts/lesions???

After having a short break, due to exhaustion and stress, DH and I are TTC again. TTC 2.5 years, endo, lap, clomid x2 (BFN), HSG (good), acupuncutre, cyst and lesions on ovaries. Had a cyst bust only a couple of months ago, OMG did that hurt! Currently trying herbs. periods finally regulating!!!!

I might actually be able to time something for once!

Does anyone know much about cysts and lesions and if they affect your chances of TTC much?

Thanks for any advice anyone can give me or even a hello

ange

Hi Ange! Welcome back to TTC. I hope all goes well and congratulations on getting your periods regulated. Unfortunately I don't know the answer to the cysts/lesions effecting fertility but it might be something you want to talk to your RE or OBGYN about.

Hi Ange!
Believe me i know, cysts hurt like heck. You have been diagnosed as unexplained? If you have cysts on your ovaries on a regular basis (most women have an occassional one) you may want to rule out pcos. That is my dx and that is one big sign of having it.
Good luck to you!

cysts can affect fertility, but i'm not sure exactly how. When i was going through treatment, I would get a cyst every other month because of the hormonal treatment. They would refuse to go on with the infertility treatments until the cyst had dissipated. they said that it would hinder ovulation.
cysts are so painful. i definately recommend speaking with your doctor.

Question Tests for PCOS

Thanks girls for your replys.

How do they test for PCOS?
Dont tell me, a big fat needle straight through my stomach?

Just kidding, I hope. Every time you need a test it usually involves at least one needle. Did I mention i used to have the biggest phobia of needles? USED TO!!!
Oh well, no pain no gain right? Do you girls have PCOS or know much about it?

Im gonna go do some reading up on this and find out, thanks for the heads up! Goodluck to you all, baby dust to you!!!
