Question Anyone around?

Just posting to see if there is anyone out there.
This board gets so quiet and I'm wondering if there's anything we can do about that.....so who's here?
Jenn

I'm here too!! And still unexplained with no reason as to why my first IVF cycle ended in a miscarriage. DH and I meet with our RE next Monday to give us a post IVF consult.....maybe have some answers then. And I am going to push for immune testing.

I hate unexplained, there's just no rhyme or reason to it.

Tiffany

Tiffany,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
All this time ttc and you finally get pg only to lose your baby--IF is so cruel.
Good luck at your appt.
Jenn

I'm new to this board. I have done 5 IUI's and 1 Fresh IVF and 1 Frozen IVF. We've been diagnosed with unexplained infertility ever since the beginning. I had a blighted ovum in 11/05. I went for my follow up appt. with my DR yesterday. I tried to ask him why I've been going to him for 14 months and I'm still not pregnant. I just feel like he is not giving me the answers I need. I have an appt. with a new DR next Friday. Hopefully a fresh outlook will help to give us some answers.

I want to bang my head against the wall when they say 'unexplained infertility'. I've known women who have had much more severe issues and all are pregnant or have children. If I'm unexplained, then why aren't I pregnant?!?!?

I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

Anne- I hear your pain. I have done 4 IUI's and all have not worked. I am ready to do something else...anything because I want to get the train rolling. I think I'm going to go to another doctor sometime soon too. Unexplained IF is really hard because you never know which path to take. At least if you know what the problem is, you can work on fixing it.

I'm also struggling with all of my friends getting pregnant around me. FIVE of my close friends have told me that they are pregnant in the last month. I'm going to start af tomorrow and I'm dreading it because it is just a big fat reminder that I'm NOT pregnant AGAIN.

My husband and I got in a fight before I came to work today. We both just snapped at each other and it is all because of the stress that IF is taking on our lives. I'm sure that we will be fine later today but we both feel like we have no control and sometimes we take it out on each other a little. It was all because I took a pregnancy test this morning and he told me not to because we both knew it would be negative. I took one and started crying and then he was upset that I took one. Whatever, I just need a vacation from all of this!!

rio--we are living parallel lives. My dh and I have had the same conversations. And, I have 4 friends who are currently pg. I have had 4 unsuccessful iuis--1 cancelled ivf and 1 failed ivf. So I feel your pain!!!!!! My dh is generally a very patient person--but IF tested his (and my) limits! It has been a very frustrating 4 years! I am scheduled for another ER this friday...wish me luck!

anne--I felt the same as you. I changed docs recently. I just did not think that my doc was giving me the answers or treatment I needed. My new doc changed my protocol...and it is working so far.

I am 38 and ticking...with each procedure....it just gets harder!!!
