hello again. my story....well we tried on our own for one year. then we tried clomid-6months. then we tried profasi injections. then we finally went to the fertility doctor. he first checked my husband and all was fine. then he put us on repronex injections with also a noveral shot. they monitored my eggs and then we had an iui done. it worked...on the first try! we found out we were pregnant last valentine's day! all went well once we were finally pregnant. my husband and i can't help but to think that the iui is what really helped. before baby..my uterus was tilted backwards and to the left. i know that is common, but 3 doctors told us that mine was extream. the fertility doctor did not seem to think that it was the problem though. (even the iui was a little difficult to do because of the tilt.) who knows...something worked and that is all that matters.

just want to say good luck to you and im right there with you. we are actually trying again already. hopefully it will happen naturally this time. i know what you are going through and it is very scary. i never did lose the "feeling of infertility" it remained with me through pregnancy and continues now. the feeling of sadness. as happy as i am with my baby, ella, i can't help but to feel it. i guess it can be a good thing in a way because i am reminded of all it took to get her here and i don't take her for granted for even one moment. also it reminds me to pray for everyone eles that is still going through it. i will forever admir all of us who have the courage to continue to try....even when you feel as though you can't anymore. best wishes ... sending you all of my warmest baby thoughts!

I to have unexplained for 11 years but now have a wonderful baby girl thru the mircale of domestic adoption and she is going on 5 months now! She is a wonderful blessing but I do relate with all of you it is a wound that will be with me forever, you go on but you never forget of all the hurt this infertility has caused me and my dh. It seems for me anyway that I will never give up the desire to have more children, I just can't.

Congrats to you Lil.

And i have to agree with you all...you never forget the pain of infertility. It does become a part of you. While i was wish it had been "easy" for me to achieve mommyhood, i am grateful in the way it has made me grow as a person.
Good luck to everyone!!!!!

Rusty--

I could'nt agree more. You take nothing for granted after dealing with infertility for sooo long. Everything after that is icing on the cake. You know whats really important in life.
