Beta numbers very greatly and I think a DR won't know the answer until the ultrasound. Good luck!

Totally agree with misapup. It could be twins or one really strong singleton but you won't know until the u/s. I've seen really high betas with just a singleton and not so high and it be multiples. You just don't know until your Dr. takes a look. Good luck on Tuesday.

betas are really hard to go by sometimes. With my 2nd to last IVF my doc called with my beta results, because I didnt answer he left a message and I will never forget him saying "looks like we might be dealing with twins".
At the u/s it was a singleton, one single strong HB, but because my levels were so high and following up betas were more than doulbing he did think it was two. I think in my situation it was because we had a Trinomy pg and I have heard that can lead to higher than normal betas when just a singleton.

Anyway, long story short, its hard to tell how many your have cooking by beta numbers alone.
