    Good Afternoon ladies--
So today is 15dpo and I broke down and tested this morning. I was so scared of just getting another negative--- but there it was BFP! I couldn't believe it. Called DH at work bawling. MIL was at the store helping and DH is not good at being discrete so she knows, which is fine, but I won't be able to surprise her. Thank you all for your support and encouragement.

That's why I was so sure I was not preggo, I even took Ibuprofen yesterday because of my sore neck. I could kick myself today. My HCG was only 123, seems a little low for 11dp5dt (17po). But it is a possitive and I will take it.

So, Impatient08- listen to these girls, there is still hope.

    Kerrymv- Great news

I hope all our other BFP's are still doing good, it sounds like it!
    Yippee Awesome news.

    tam and impatient - Congratulations!!!!!

Impatient - will you go in for a beta? I recommend it!

I went in for my 2nd beta today - still waiting for results. Here's the funny thing - i told my lab technician my beta and he said that was a "normal" or "elevated" beta for a non-assisted cycle. He said that 1st betas are generally lower for those who go through IVF due to the hormones involved. Anyone else heard that?

    Hey all,
I will probably not be doing a BETA as the OB didn't reccomend one. She wants me to come in fairly soon for an u/s, so we will probably be scheduling that for the beginning of the year.

Oh my goodness! I was distracted with work yesterday and just checked in... WOW!!! This group is beating the average odds in a CRAZY way! 2 more BFPs?!!

DOUBLE CONGRATULATIONS to Tam and Impatient! I am SO HAPPY for you both. I wish I could give you those jumping up and down smiley faces, but I have no clue how to make them! YAY! YAY! YAY!

Impatient - Don't worry about not getting a beta - wondering about the number is just something else to obsess over. Celebrate the BFP, pray for this BFP to be a keeper, and look forward to your u/s, momma!

Tam - Good luck with beta #2! Yes, there are always more milestones, but you got to stop and celebrate the good ones when they come - this is a great one!

Flon - Sounds like a solid beta to me! Congrats! Do you get an u/s date soon?

Kerry - Wow - great beta. So glad you get an u/s before your anniversary! Hoping for lots of good news to celebrate! (And yes, my RE said that betas are normally lower for IVF cyclers than non-assisted folks, and lower yet for those who have ICSI-IVF). So yours sounds really high - maybe you've got more than one in there. Or maybe you're just the exception that proves the rule - some people do produce higher levels of HCG and only have one. Only the u/s will tell!

mmmkkk - I've got a great feeling about you! I think you'll be joining the club very soon!

Braveface - Can't wait until Friday to hear whether you've got one or two in there! So excited you're almost at your second u/s! Is it feeling real yet?

OnlyHope - Fingers crossed you get to see your HB on the 20th! That's right around the corner.... I know not everyone's HB starts on the exact same day, but I hope yours does!

AFM - So my beta #2 is tomorrow! Hoping for another good increase and an u/s date for the calendar -- I need a date to look forward to!

    Wow! What a great group!
I am going for a 2nd beta on Friday and then hoping to schedule u/s from there.I know there is no "magic number" but what are we looking for? Double? Triple? Just increase?
    Thanks everyone!
