Wednesday is the day of truth for me (beta)...anyone else??

I am absolutely driving myself nuts!! Wednesday is the day of truth for me, I will find out whether or not this final attempt at IUI has worked or not. I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst but I want positive news so badly!!! And my DH really wants to hear good news too. Don't get me wrong, he always wanted to hear good news on the previous 6 attempts, but he never got too upset when the news was negative because he always knew we had another IUI to attempt..well if we get negative news this time it is onto IVF for us and he is already a wreck thinking of spending $20,000 on something that isn't guaranteed. So, I'm trying to take deep breaths, and trying to keep my mind focused on something else (which isn't working very well), and just hoping and praying for the best results on Wednesday. Just wondering if anyone else is getting their results on Wednesday also?? It might sound odd but knowing that someone else is out there going through the same thing at the same time makes me feel better somehow...

I know exactly how you feel girl. You're not alone, there is a bunch of us right now waiting for Wednesday/Thursday.....It is a time we're all praying and hoping for. I can understand your stress and anxiety for sure, been there, done that, got the bill! I really hope this is it for you. Please know we're all here for you, and if you need to vent or talk or just have someone listen, I'm here anytime! I wish you well, and I will say a few prayers and keep my legs....err uhh fingers crossed for ya! Please keep us updated the MINUTE you know something. ++++ thoughts to you and your DH!

Hey Monica,
My big day is Thursday and, yes, it seems like 3 years away. I have been desperately trying to think about anything else, but I find myself at these boards or obsessing about every cramp and body change that comes along.

We did three IUIs and then moved on to IVF. At our last IUI, the nurse said, "why are you doing IUI - this will never work with your husband's low sperm count." Uh, because you guys told us this was a good option. Needless to say, we switched clinics.

I was very bloated after my retrieval and I have nothing like that now. My nurse told me that many women who experience severe bloating after retrieval will experience it after transfer if they are pregnant. Ok, so she said most, not all, but that's just one more thing to stress about. I can't believe I'm wishing for bloating. I was just cussing last week because I couldn't button any pants and had to wear sweatpants. It's all a roller coaster.
