Early Pregnancy Symptoms

Thank you very much. To be honest it's been so long since I've had a period that I don't remember what it even feels like. So, when I started bleeding I thought it was at first but I didn't cramp and I do remember my periods being much longer, although the Mirena may have changed my cycle. I'm planning on getting a test today, I was going to wait another week to give myself more of a chance that it'd be positive but the wondering it killing me. Not only that but my hot flashes and nausea have been INTENSE since 5 am. Need to figure that out asap. I'll update later on!

I'm cd25 (not positive when I o'd, thinking around day 14) and had dark brown spotting this morning and nothing since. I tested yesterday (too early I think) and BFN. Thanks for any help!

I did. It seemed to go on for days and it really scared me at first. I thought I might be losing the baby or AF was slowly arriving.

Hi kdelehant, that could definitely be implanation spotting or old blood. Dark brownish spotting is usually old blood. Hold out for a few more days hun and test again. Please keep us updated. Fingers crossed for you.

Hi ! I had sex on the 4th this month, and two days later found a nickel sized amount of blood in my panties, then the next day it turned brown, old blood. I had sex again on the 10th, and three days later i noticed a mix of creamy like blood, when I wiped. I don't know if that was implantation bleeding or not, or what happened there. The 16th I didn't get my period, so this friday I finally tested and got a BFP!

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to the forms and I've really enjoyed reading this thread - seems it hasn't been updated for awhile. Does anyone who recently got their BFP have some 2WW pregnancy symptoms to share? I'm due to POAS on Friday the 6th so I'm obsessing, of course!

Here are some signs I didn't pick up on, even though I was hyper aware of the possiblity of being pregnant:
From 5 dpo - brief dizzy spells
From 8 dpo - occasional waves of nausea
9 dpo - weird tugging pain on right side, around ovary area. Later found out fertilised egg was from right side.
10 dpo - mucousy...
11 dpo - nausea after eating - turned out this lasted 12 weeks.... also aversion to foods I usually loved, like my favourite biscuits for example.
11 dpo - very faint line on test, almost unreadable
12 dpo - definite line on test!

I love this site. I feel so similar to everyone on here!

I'm in the 2ww and would like some feedback if anyone can relate.


I had a period on June 9th, it was shorter than usual and otherwise not out of the ordinary. 5 days after it ended, I had break through bleeding for 3 days in a row. I spoke with my doc's office and they told me to take a preg. test which was negative. The rest of the month went normally, nothing too remarkable. I did do OPK but I'm not sure if the test line was ever darker than the control line...but there were two noticeable lines for a few days so I'll take it

Now, I should've had a period sometime in the last few days (just based on my previous month's cycles) and I haven't had a thing.

I feel nauseous, tired, incredibly moody and have slight cramps. I have absolutely no breast soreness (and I tend to during my period so I would assume I would if I were pregnant..?). I took 2 HPTs and both were negative.

Any suggestions or feedback? I don't want to call my doc again, they're going to start thinking I'm absolutely the most high maintenance and crazy patient!
