Early Pregnancy Symptoms

With my first pregnancy, I had cramping basically during the entire 2ww. The cramps were similar to AF cramps.

But this time around, after doing a double IUI, I had no cramping at all but my breasts have been sore. The soreness stopped for a few days, about 8dpIUI, and then started up again and still are going on today (5th week).

I also have some updates on symptoms. I am sick all throughout the day and my sense of smell is no joke, I went to the grocery store today and had to leave, the fried chickn smell from the deli was killing me, I went home empty handed. I also have become very finiky, I dont like anything anymore, I hate all meat, it all grosses me out. I pee alot too, oh and I cant remember the last time I slept through the night. I have these beautiful green veins on my breasts and Im so tired all of the time. Its a good thing Im excited about being pregnant, cause these past few weeks havent been fun

Erica, the taste is sort of metallic, very hard to describe. Its like I was chewing on tin foil, and I really notice it when I inhale through my mouth. Not buttery, but some foods don't taste so good anymore, like cookies. They almost tasted like what I imagine dog cookies taste like. Hope that helps.

I've broken out pretty bad. I've have skin issues for the past two years, and its had subsided in the past few months, but now I look like I got punched in the cheek! I had the tiniest amount of blood on toilet paper Sunday. If I haven't been looking for it, I probably would never have noticed it. I got worried at first, but that was it for any blood. I get more blood from a pin prick. It was scant. Probably a little broken blood vessel in my cervix. I've been SOOO tired, I feel like I can't do anything. And I've been very moody, my poor hubby!

Well, now that it is official, I can say that my symptoms were definitely different this time. The bbs are sore on the sides and top, lots of veining on them and they are puffy. As for the other stuff, dry mouth and dryness in general, stomach upset mild to uncomfortable pretty much every day and better when eating, smells are stronger, uncomfortable cramping on left side (sometimes right) for a couple of days, and hot in the night. Congratulations again Loraflo. I was just reading your symptoms and I have the symptoms with bb's, its so stressful to wait always thinking "should I be positive about this or am I just wishful thinking and getting my hopes up"

What did they say about your number, is that high, maybe twins?

Starbaby, I forget what date you are--remind me. If your bbs continue to feel heavy as the 2ww is in the latter stages, that is a GREAT sign!! With my previous chemical, they stopped hurting. Good luck!!!!

The RE said it could be twins, yes. I do my next beta on Monday, so, god willing, my numbers will be up.

I had my IUI on 3/18 and my beta is on 4/3, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

We started with IVF, the first was a chemical pg and I know what you mean that was the first sign to me that something was not right. My beta then was only 18 but progressed to 34 and then the last beta was down to 19. I've been feeling cramps since the first day and now I have the soreness in the exact spots you have. Yesterday I was nauseous but today I'm ok. I hope I'm not talking myself into the symptoms.

Well......it sounds good to me!!! I know what you mean about talking oneself into symptoms, but if they hurt now, that's a fact. And you are so close!!!!! I have a good feeling for you!

Well thanks for keeping your fingers crossed, I appreciate it. The wait was horrible but got my results yesterday for my first beta. BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doc said the number was in the 850's and I'm very pregnant....now to try not to stress out for tomorrows test.....
